For the April concert of Polyfold Presents, we had originally planned on commissioning community improviser-composers to each write a piece for a large ensemble consisting of themselves plus Polyfold. Due to the pandemic hitting right around this concert, we converted this project into a microgrant where each improviser-composer submitted an piece that reflects the current state of the world
